Late summer has settled over TasWood, and the woodland is humming with warm, lantern‑lit mischief. My Jack O’Lantern collection is quietly waking — the glowing LED light, the limited‑edition print, the cosy cushion and seasonal treats — all coming soon to bring a little terrier magic to late summer evenings and the first hints of autumn.

And deeper in the woodland, winter stories are stirring. My Winter is Warmer with Love robins are fluffing their feathers, and the terriers of Waiting for Santa Paws are peering out from their thatched cottage window, wondering when their festive tale will begin.

I’m Nikki, an illustrator and storyteller living in the quiet fold of the Tas Valley in Norfolk. By day I help build homes; by night I return to my desk by the river, where the reeds whisper their secrets and the woodland edges hum with old tales.

TasWood began in that hush — in pawprints along the riverbank, in the small wonders noticed on walks with my Jack Russell, Georgie Jack Rascal. The wild ones revealed themselves slowly: a rustle here, a flicker there, a creature waiting to be drawn into the light.

Now I bring their stories to life through ink, watercolour and raised lines you can feel beneath your fingertips — tiny worlds stitched with Norfolk folklore, woodland mischief and the soft magic of rural escapism. Some pieces carry hidden Morse Code messages, left by TasWood’s sprites for curious hearts who look closely.

From these tales come hand‑printed treasures for cosy homes and story‑loving wanderers — keepsakes that carry a little piece of TasWood into the everyday.
