TasWood is stepping into a new season of kindness, comfort, and quiet magic.
There’s still time to choose something from my Winter is Warmer with Love collection — perfect for cosy moments and meaningful gifts.
Very soon, a new visitor will be hopping through the Forgotten Tracks Post Portal…Jack ‘Rabbit’ Valentine arrives this month with a pocketful of folklore and a heart full of mischief. His upcoming collection of story‑led Valentines gifts is designed to bring a little wonder to those you love.
If you’re looking ahead, Finn’s Gift of Gloves makes a beautiful choice for Mother’s Day, and my Easter Hare collection will be ready to welcome spring in April.
Be sure to Favourite my shop so you don’t miss new arrivals, seasonal stories, and the first peek at Jack’s Valentines surprises.
The spark for this illustration came from a simple childhood misunderstanding—the way little ears mishear words, shaping them into new meanings with unexpected magic. Finn’s Gift of Gloves began as a whimsical idea for my Mum, rooted in that innocence, then grew into something woven with folklore and friendship. The final illustration is a blend of Indian ink, delicate faerie details, and watercolour washes, capturing the depth of storytelling while keeping the piece soft, nostalgic, and full of charm.
Each print carries a snippet of this tale beneath the artwork, while the full poem is sent separately—so the story continues beyond the illustration, waiting to be read, gifted, and shared.

Full description
Step into TasWood, where woodland magic lingers in the smallest moments. Finn Willowbrush, a young fox with bright amber eyes, searches for a gift with the help of his faerie friend, Petalwing. But words—so full of wonder—don’t always mean what they seem…
Finn believed foxgloves were tiny gloves made just for foxes. With Petalwing guiding him, he set off to find the perfect pair, only to discover something far more enchanting.
This A4 open-edition print captures the innocence of childhood—when little ones say the most unexpected and endearing things. Inspired by misheard words and magical thinking, this illustration is playful, nostalgic, and full of quiet enchantment—a keepsake to make you smile and reminisce.
Originally created as a heartwarming gift for my Mum, this design is perfect for any loved one, friend, or teacher - celebrating kindness, storytelling, and seeing the world through a child’s eyes.
Printed from my original Indian ink and watercolour illustration, each print includes a copy of my full Finn’s Gift of Gloves poem, with a selected excerpt beneath the artwork—so the magic continues long after the first glance.
