My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
This small textile artwork of a black cat with golden eyes would make a lovely gift for a cat lover.
The cat's face has been made with black cotton fabric and for the background I've used a piece of colourful batik. I've added shading to his ears using inks and the facial details have been created with embroidery threads including metallic silver for his whiskers and gold threads to add sparkle to his eyes.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
The artwork comes in an 8 inch white, square mount with a 3.75 inch aperture. It is titled and signed on reverse.
