My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
This pretty little hand sewn picture would make a lovely one-of-a-kind gift.
The picture features a teal and green folk bird surrounded by flowers and leaves. I've included some metallic embroidery threads to add a bit of sparkle and added sequins and seed beads to create some texture. The tile effect border has been made using sections of batik.
The artwork comes in an 8 inch white, square mount with a 3.75 inch aperture. It is titled and signed on reverse.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
