My inspiration for these coasters to upcycle some bamboo coasters using my pyrography skills and my love of the Gingko Bonsai plant I have growing in my garden and used this for the design.

Full description
The coasters are refurbished from plain bamboo. I sanded them back to clean the surface and then traced my design onto the coaster and pyro graphed the image. I used sand and sealer to seal the wood and finished with a melamine glass lacquer to give them a gloss finish. I finally buffed them using vegan friendly carnauba wax to shine.
This coaster is made from organic, natural, solid bamboo and will distort if put in water or to near a heat source, they will discolour if left in direct sunlight. This whale is not suitable for young children. To care for the coaster, feed the bamboo with wax or similar when required. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible. Please note that wood is a natural product and can be affected by its environment.
