Chrysocolla is a copper silicate that comes in rich and varied hues of blue and green.
These beads are swirls of dark green and deep blue, reminiscent of tiny planets.
It is considered a gentle and soothing stone, associated with tranquility and peace.
Chrysocolla aligns with both the heart and throat chakras.
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral that exhibits 'labradorescence' - flashes of electric blue/green - in the light.
It was once believed that this flash was the Northern Lights captured in the stone.
This has lead to the belief that the stone has mystical properties.
It is associated with intuition, self awareness and the awakening of the inner spirit.

Blue-green gemstone necklace featuring seven 6mm Chrysocolla beads separated by 3.5mm AAA grade faceted Labradorite, set between trios of 6mm chrysocolla beads, embellished with sparkly. high quality Austrian 4mm 'indicolite' crystal bicones and tiny 1.8mm sterling silver spacers.
The piece graduates to 4mm Chrysocolla beads and fastens with a Tibetan silver tulip toggle clasp.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, or as a treat for yourself.
This necklace measures approximately 18 inches (46cm), contact me via the button below my shop banner if you would like it to be lengthened or shortened.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
