Apatite is a calcium phosphate, the same mineral that makes up the teeth and bones of all vertebrates.
It is found in an array of colours, most commonly blues and greens, but also yellows, browns and greys.
The blue-green stones I have used here are named 'Ocean Blue Apatite' after their beautiful aqua hue.
Apatite is thought to stimulate clarity of thought, wisdom snd creativity.
Like all gemstones Apatite is sensitive to chemicals, abrasives and heat, but at a Mohs hardness of 5, it should be treated with extra care.

Full description
Ocean Blue Apatite and Grey Agate beaded bracelet with a central barrel shaped Apatite stone highlighted with tiny faceted Apatite and sparkly sterling silver stardust beads.
The centrepiece is a 13x8mm natural Ocean Blue Apatite rough cut faceted column.
To either side is a trio of 2mm A grade micro-faceted Apatite beads highlighted with sparkly 3mm laser cut sterling silver 'stardust' beads.
The main body of the bracelet comprises alternating 6mm beads of natural Ocean Blue Apatite and Grey Agate.
Please note that Apatite is a relatively soft stone and should be treated with care.
Hand made in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day or as a treat for yourself.
This bracelet measures approximately 7 inches (17.5cm)
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
