I've seen a lot of embroideries in my time, but this one is especially cute. It may be as old as art deco, with its nostalgic and romantic view of the world. We all need a few more thatched cottages in our lives!

Full description
This pretty make up bag or zipped purse has been upcycled from a lovely old tray cloth, embroidered with a romantic cottage and garden. Possibly as old as art deco, it was a little thread bare, but I was able to find enough cloth to make into this practical but pretty bag. Always useful, these little purses are great ear bud or headphones storage, useful as handbag organisers or as storage for special things. It would make a great gift for an embroiderer, a vintage clothes lover, or as a Valentines present.
The purse measures 16 cm by 12 cm
It has a 16 cm dusty pink zip
There is a different embroidered section front and back
The lining is a vintage floral
There is a little hook so it can be hung up as a tiny piece of craft work, and it is finished with my own embroidered label.
Please wash on a short cool cycle, and leave to dry naturally.
