I've had these old crystal necklaces for a while, the idea to make ornaments from them came to me after seeing a demonstration of bead ornaments using modern beads.

Full description
Pretty green ornament made using flattened bicone, green, crystal beads. Graduating from a large one to a very small one with red, clear, seed beads between. The ornament recalls a Christmas tree and is completed with a clear crystal bicone bead at the top.
The largest green bead is 2cm across and the ornament measures 13.5cm including the hanging loop. The 'tree' section is approximately 7cm.
These beads are from an old necklace, probably 1930s in date, the clear crystal is from another old necklace as well. The ornament is created using fine twisted wire and silver toned crimps.
A unique addition to any tree, once this necklace is used up there will never be another like it.
