I wanted to pick up the red in the linen and chose a piece of floral cotton I had in my stash. I also knew I wanted to line it with the blue striped cotton I had and the embroidery and beadwork seemed a good way to connect everything together.

Full description
Shopping bag or tote bag made from a vintage French linen teatowel ( unused) and decorated with cotton fabric. I have embroidered and beaded a circular design on the front. It is fully lined using repurposed cotton and has two internal pockets. The carrying handles are made with soft cotton rope. The embroidered initials and the hanging tab you can see are original. It is a strong, sturdy bag great for shopping, books, laptops.
