Ruth Buchanan

I delight in giving fabrics a second chance and creating something beautiful and functional.

I am a passionate creator, artist and stitcher living in Scotland. Textiles, threads and wools, buttons, beads and lace are like treasure to me and i am always on the look out in markets and thrift stores to see what I can find. I am driven by my love for repurposing fabrics and breathing new life into old materials with my slow stitching and embroidery. Here, in my shop, you will find pieces which are totally unique. I dont use a pattern, I let the fabric tell me what to do.The outcome is always a thrill!
