I made this needle book with a piece of French hanky I found in a brocante in France. I created the design with slowstitching and added another piece of lace I had as decoration. The lining is a sample of one of my own fabric designs and, luckily, I had a piece of orange felt for the pages. I loved all the colours together.

Full description
I made this needle book with a piece of vintage French handkerchief and some lace. It is hand embroidered all over and lined with a piece of cotton. It is padded with organic cotton wadding. The four pages of the needle book are made from wool felt and I have used an old button with a length of ribbon to wrap around as a closure.
