I am always looking for ways to use up smaller pieces of fabric and this seemed a great way. The shape is a traditional komebukuro rice bag from Japan and was used, historically, to carry rice, especially when giving a gift.

Full description
This is a traditional style Japanese rice bag, or komebukuro, with cotton drawstring closure. It is reversible. Its square shape makes it big enough to use as a project bag or make up etc.
