I bought a few vintage French teatowels from a brocante in France as they material is beautiful, really strong and a lovely colour. They normally have red stripes or check patterens but are sometimes with other colours too. I loved this one, in particular, because it has the initials of the original owner embroiderd on it.

Full description
A useful tote or market bag made from a vintage French linen teatowel. I have used repurposed cotton for the lining and it has an interior pocket. I have added some of my embroidery and a piece of old lace for decoration. The handles are sturdy cotton webbing. You will notice initials embroidered on the front, I think 'GC'. These are original and probably belonged to the owner.
