I wanted to make some elegant Christmas stockings and had two unused 100% linen cloths.
I was inspired by the Scandinavian themes of simple red and white, and added some red work embroidery to the front of the stocking, along with some red glass beads.
The hanging tag has been attached with my homemade ceramic button.

Full description
These stockings have been upcycled from linen towels. They have been hand embroidered with red cotton thread and embellished with tiny red glass beads. Finished with my own ceramic button.
The outer front and back are linen fabric whilst the lining is cotton and the wadding a mix of cotton and polyester.
