Full description
I made this handbag with pieces of Harris Tweed in tartan and checks and some wool fabric I had. It is decorated with vintage French lace and I have slowstitched in places to add to the embellishment. The lining is from repurposed cotton. The bag has been interfaced to help keep the bucket shape but the wool still feels soft. The straps are made from cotton webbing and there is a button and elastic closure. The four inch boxing makes it nice and roomy and it is big enough to carry a paperback, kindle or small tablet.
