Sand Between Your Toes provokes a memory of hot sunny and carefree days at the seaside!
Carefully selected fabric has been painted first and then embroidered with French Knot stitch. The sun on the sea is perfectly captured in sparkling fabric. A unique and lasting piece of art that's a bit different.
Sand Between Your Toes is produced by hand, no machine embroidery here.
Floating from the background and mounted in a birch box frame to enhance the textures and depth.
A great gift as it can sit on a shelf, it also comes with a hook if you want to hang it on the wall.
Everything I make is inspired by nature, and the result maybe abstract or literal. I work with clay, fabric and thread, and found objects from the countryside and seashore.
Your purchase will be beautifully wrapped, and where possible, I use recycled packaging for the outer packing.
