Full description
I have created this hand wrapped stone following the Japanese method of Mizuhiki, or embellishing a gift, using weaving and knot techniques.
Firstly, I select a stone for its size, shape and texture. Then I hand wrap it in rattan cane, securing the ends by wrapping back underneath. This means no glue or fixings have been used, resulting in an entirely natural object.
This stone is one of my smaller ones, making it ideal to roll in your hand while thinking or meditating.
This stone is designed to be picked up and handled, use as a desk ornament or simply place on a shelf within easy reach to be admired.
A lovely sustainable gift, ideal as a yoga meditation stone or set within a nautical bath ground.
