Horizon Lines is a striking modern graphic diptych of embroidery on heavyweight watercolour paper.
Echoing field contours, ploughing lines, hill landscapes within the black embroidery. The dash of blue embroidery highlights the sky and river lines, punctuating the monochrome.
Each piece is floating against a black background, within a very deep box frame, finished in a beech effect.
Designed to sit on a shelf, each frame also comes with a hook for wall hanging. Ideal for home or office environment.
Every piece of art I create is unique and produced by hand, no machine embroidery here, often reflecting the seasons.
Everything I make is inspired by nature, and the result maybe abstract or literal. I work with clay, fabric and thread, and found objects from the countryside and seashore.
Each frame is 16.5cm x 16.5cm x 6cm
