I had seen the bulbs with script filaments on sale and was inspired to make a statement lamp to go with the statement in the bulb! I have made similar before but this one is different enough to still be unique.

Full description
A heart shaped copper table lamp, made from repurposed water pipe, which combines contemporary, industrial and steampunk styles. I have formed a heart shape from 22mm copper pipe, secured it to a wooden base and fitted a new brass ES lampholder to hold a 4-Watt LED globe lamp with its filament in the shape of the word ‘Love’ centrally in the heart shape. The light reflects nicely from the polished copper.
All joints in the copper pipework are soldered together in the traditional way so there may be some surplus solder around the joints. Once soldering was finished (and cooled!), the wiring was run through the pipework. The lamp is secured onto a base made from reclaimed wood which I have sanded, Danish oiled and beeswax polished to give a nice sheen, it has an integral toggle switch and stands on four felt pads to protect your furniture. Power is supplied through 6 feet/1.8 metres of luxury Italian made black braided flex with a black British plug with the correct 3a-amp fuse.
