I think cross body bags are useful when you want to be hands free and this piece of French linen seemed ideal to make one with. I had some scraps of red fabric which I thought went well.

Full description
A cross body bag, useful for carrying phones, keys etc. Its made with a piece of vintage French linen and decorated with patchwork cotton fabric scraps and slow stitched. It is fully lined in cotton and has a long shoulder strap made from cotton webbing ( 40" doubled)
