Full description
A handmade stained glass suncatcher featuring 3 flowers in a row with leaves. The outside flowers are deep red in colour and the centre flower is opaque pink.
I used the tiffany technique where each hand cut piece of glass is ground along the edges to ensure that they are smooth and fit together well. Sticky copper foil tape is burnished onto the edges of the glass pieces so that they can be soldered together. I applied a black patina to the solder to give the appearance of leading.
There are 2 small hooks and strong ‘invisible’ nylon thread for hanging.
