Full description
A handmade stained glass cat, in a sitting position, made with dark red and pink translucent, and semi-opaque white glass. I use the tiffany method. Each piece of glass is cut to shape by hand and the edges ground. Copper foil tape is placed around the edges of each piece so that they can be soldered together. I applied a black patina to the solder to give the appearance of lead.
There are 2 small hooks and ‘invisible’ nylon thread for hanging (e.g. in windows).

I do love cats and currently live with my black cat called Arnie. I do make lots of cat-themed stained glass pieces and particularly enjoy doing so. There are not many cats in my shop (yet) because I tend to keep them for myself. However my house is becoming over-run with stained glass cats, so, from now on, I need to find a good home for those I make.
