My name is Julie Lambourne. I enjoy a wide range of crafts but after attending stained glass classes through a local college about 6 years ago I have developed a passion for creating stained glass art. Since then I have continued to attend courses and recently bought my own equipment to make stained glass pieces at home. Initially this was to make presents for friends and family but I love designing and creating stained glass pieces so much that I now need another outlet for my work. I decided to set up my a Folksy shop on the advice of friends.
I am motivated purely by the enjoyment of stained glass art, not profit. Therefore pricing of my pieces is estimated to cover costs so that I can buy some more lovely, colourful glass to continue my passion. I enjoy all aspects of the process from designing to choosing colours and creating these pieces.
My work is supervised from a safe distancea by my cat Arnie. I started out making lots of cat-themed pieces but have since widened my range.
