Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

I'm not sure if this contented looking cat is taking a nap before going out to party the night away or has just got in from a night on the tiles. Either way he's certainly got his glad rags on.
I've used a section of batik fabric for the background which I've embellished with seed beads and embroidery threads. The King of Bling is snoozing contentedly on a strip of embroidered Indian trim which is decorated with sequins and metallic threads.
I've used acrylic paints and inks to create the cat and his fabulous coat consists of large slate-blue stripes decorated with metallic seed beads and in between those there are additional stripes glinting with silver metallic thread. His forehead has a little motif made with metallic threads, seed beads and a tiny sequin.
The picture comes in a good quality double mount. Outer measurement is 8 inches square and visible area is just under 5.5 inches square.
The artwork will be sent Royal Mail, second class large letter.
