Seeing all that recycle waste on the streets waiting for pick up after the holidays made me look into forever gift bags. So using up some of my fabric stash, combined with one or two feature prints, I make forever gift bags. Some of my bags use left over patchwork quilt blocks, some upcycle linen tablecloths, some I have hand embroidered, all are one of a kind.

This lined draw string bag is made from a popular heavy cotton fabric with coordinating striped bottom and a cotton top and lining.
A cotton cord completes the bag.
The bag measures 24 x 20 cms and has a bottom of 11 cms.
Useful for all sorts of knitting and crochet projects it can also be given as a gift or used as a forever gift bag.
