Full description
The Triceratops was a herbivorous dinosaur living in the late Cretaceous period. Its name means "3-horned face". Their "frill" and their horns make them look pretty fearsome, but also instantly recognisable. This one, however is more cute than fearsome, although don't tell him that!
He would make a great gift for a dinosaur lover, or someone who needs a little cheering up. After all, who wouldn't want a miniature dinosaur companion?
He has been made by sculpting wool over a wire armature with a barbed felting needle, and then adding details using coloured fibres. He can be very gently posed into different positions.
He measures approximately 15 cm (6 inches) from his nose to the base of his tail.
The wool used in all of my soft sculptures has been ethically sourced, generally from local farmers and shepherds. I like to support smallholders and small businesses wherever I can.
PLEASE NOTE: as with all of my sculptures, this figurine is intended as a decoration only and is not a toy. Due to small parts, and the wire frame, it should be kept out of reach of children and animals. It is fairly fragile but if it is handled with care, it should last a long time.
For care instructions, please see my FAQs on the front page of my shop, or below. .
