I was given this soda syphon a while ago and knew I wanted to put a lamp inside it – but it took a while to properly work out how. The SES candle shaped colour changing lamp just seems to suit it so well, in my opinion, and the remote control is a useful bonus.

Give your home some sparkle with this upcycled 1970s soda syphon table lamp with its 3-Watt remote-controlled LED colour change bulb which can be switched on and off, dimmed, set to one of sixteen steady colours or to cycle through the colours in either strobe or fade modes.
I have drilled the base of the syphon and the bulb is fitted inside, lighting up the fluted glass and original etched logo beautifully. The lamp is firmly held together on a reclaimed wood base which has been sanded and Danish oiled. Power is supplied through 6 feet/1.8 metres of black fabric braided flex fitted with a black 3-amp fused UK plug. As always from Steampunk Creative Engineering, all electrical components are brand new and the unit is safety tested and certified UKCA compliant.
