Full description
This is a beautiful dark pink and blue lampwork glass beaded pendant necklace, created with a base of Double Helix glass, called Rhea which is a dark, almost red / pink colour with the addition of spots of my favourite saturated silver glass, Clio, which reacted in the flame and when it was encased under the clear glass bumps has resulted in a metallic mirrored blue colour (with hints of yellow/brown streaks). Stunning!
The bead itself is 20mm diameter x 17.5 mm thick excluding the bumps.
I designed the pendant with lavender coloured genuine Swarovski crystals and silver lined seed beads.
The pendant drop is approximately 2 1/2"
The necklace is made with Sterling silver and the 18" chain clasps with a simple lobster clasp.
All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
