Full description
This unusual necklace has used 7 of my own handmade lampwork glass beads in a base of warm amber coloured glass. Fragments of green and brown glass were melted in completely onto the three focal beads after which they were were shaped whilst molten into a cylinder.
The central focal bead is 25mm long, the other two are 21mm long and all the lampwork glass beads are 12mm in diameter. I added citrine semi precious stone nuggets in to complement the design and spaced these with silver lined seed beads.
Overall the necklace is 21 1/2" in length, and uses silver plated chain and a pretty heart shaped toggle design clasp.
All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
