Full description
I created this unusual bumpy pendant necklace using my handmade lampwork glass bead which was designed with turquoise blue clear glass as a base, with ivory stretched spots overlain with a silver reactive glass called Khaos that reacted in the flame to give warm hues of browns, with yellow and subtle pink/purple colours. The bead, was then encased in clear glass, shaped whilst molten into a ball and had small clear glass dots partly melted in to give a bumpy designs. The bead is approximately 20mm round.
The chain, which is 18" long, bead caps and bail are sterling silver, and the pendant drop is around 2".
All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
