I have made patchwork quilts for over 40 years inspired by my American heritage and Aunt Maude, a wonderful seamstress, who taught my mother heritage quilting techniques, skills and a love of quilts which my mum passed down to me.

Hand embroidered and appliqué picture depicting a “patchwork quilt”.
This embroidery piece is based on one of my full sized patchwork quilts. The piece is constructed from a fabric piece with embroidered ‘patchwork blocks’.
Set in a cardboard mount.
Picture size - 14.5cm x 14.5 cm approx.
Mount size - 20cm x 20cm approx.
