Patchwork Packages - Designer, maker of handmade lovely things.

Hi I am Liz Thomas.

I have designed and crafted using fabric and yarn for more than 40 years, inspired by my American heritage and wonderful Aunt Maude, a skilled seamstress and quilter. Like many I was taught a range of skills by my mother and I embroider, needle felt, paint, knit, crochet and sew.

I joined Folksy to sell curated packages of fabric for the crafter, which I do, but I have been inspired by the Folksy community to embrace my making and design skills.

I work with natural yarn, fibre and glass beads designing and making folk art inspired beaded, needle felt and hand embroidered pieces. I love colour.

I work from home in South Devon and am very lucky to have an amazing, ever changing estuary view from my work room. This view, and the rolling Devon countryside I see on my daily walks with Billy the Doodle, inspire my work.
