I walk through our garden everyday and love this time of year when new flowers pop up seemingly by the hour. This is part of a series of spring flower pictures where I try and capture the beauty of these hardy, characterful plants.

Hand embroidered picture, silk thread on a copper shot silk background.
My embroidery pieces are inspired by our Devon garden but the colours and textures come from my imagination as I stitch.
Mounted and framed.
Picture size - 10.5 x 10.5 cm approx.
Frame size - 19 x 19 cm approx.
The black wood frame with glass has stand and wall hanging fixtures.
