The way the batik fabric was dyed looked like a forest of tree trunks, so it became a woodland. This is one of a series I have made, including a Barn Owl, Hares, Foxes and a Red Squirrel - all sold on their first outing.

A design inspired by nature, this beautiful small cross body bag features Two Red deer - a Stag and Doe - in an autumnal Silver Birch woodland setting. Totally unique, each is a digitally embroidered shape with freemotion embroidered details, against a batik cotton quilted woodland with freemotion embroidered autumn foliage on the trees. These small crossbody bags are ideal for shopping, days out walking etc, when you need something small. The bag has a soft feel with a grey canvas back, charcoal faux leather base, adjustable grey webbing strap measuring 144cm (57") max. Bag measures 22cm (9'') high, 20cm (8”) wide and 5cm (2 '') deep at base. Royal Mail First Class Postage is included.
