Full description
Bring elegant upcycling into your home with this quirky and unusual table lamp made from upcycled materials - apart from the electrical components. Made by mounting a moulded glass jar that originally contained a scented candle onto a wooden base made from reclaimed timber. The wood has been shaped, sanded and French polished to give a nice protective sheen, but enough patina has been left to show it is reclaimed.
The jar has been cleaned and a hole drilled through the base to fix a black resin SES lampholder inside holding a 3-Watt LED flame effect candle bulb. These LED bulbs are very economical to run and give off very little heat so are suitable for enclosed spaces. The effect of the orange flickering bulb through the ribs of the jar is spectacular.
Power is supplied through 6 ft/1.8metres of unobtrusive black flex fitted with a black inline switch and black UK plug with the correct 3A fuse.
