This form of Jasper gets its name from the silver-grey-green colours, reminiscent of Aspen leaves.

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass.
Sometimes tiny gas bubbles, mineral crystals and rock debris are trapped within the lava as it cools, and these cause reflecting light to give a metallic sheen,
This sheen gives "gold-sheen", "silver-sheen" or "rainbow" obsidian.
Gold Sheen Obsidian is thought to promote emotional balance and clarity of mind.

Full description
This striking necklace features as a centrepiece a 15x18mm rectangle of Silver Leaf Jasper, highlighted by tiny 2mm gold vermeil spacers and set between 6mm New Jade and Gold Sheen Obsidian.
The Silver Leaf Jasper stone is a pale, silvery, grey-green with darker grey and rust-brown markings and natural imperfections.
The Gold Sheen Obsidian has a dark brown-black appearance, overlaid with olive green notes and the golden shimmer thay gives the stone its name.
New Jade is actually a form of Serpentine, with a very pale, celery-heart green colour.
The necklace fastens with a gold rose toggle clasp that is nickel and lead free.
This necklace measures approximately 15.75 inches (40cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
