In the Howgill Fells I painted a lot of oil studies of the views from my window, especially in the evenings when the light was more colourful and dramatic.

Full description
A small oil study on canvas paper (a thick textured paper created for oil painting), 15x20cm or 6x8 inches, painted from life through my window one evening in the market town of Sedbergh, in the Yorkshire Dales.
This little painting would be best mounted and framed under glass using acid-free materials. A mount is needed to prevent the oil paint from coming into contact with the glass.
