The town of Great Torrington where I live is surrounded by common land with a network of woodland and river walks expanding for miles around the area. The surrounding hillsides and woodlands are constantly changing in our moody weather worn light with brilliant sunbursts illuminating the landscape before clouds close up and greyness covers the town. Always atmospheric and very often dramatic. These ear studs reflect an instant in a day living in this remarkable place.
