Dartmoor’s beauty changes constantly with the seasons, often obscured by mist, cloud and thick rain it is a treat to sketch when it’s breathtaking hills and crags are revealed.
This open edition digital print is taken from an original ‘sketch in stitch’ done using free-motion machine embroidery on hand painted cotton fleece. I use 100% cotton archival soft textured printing paper which perfectly captures the natural colours, textures and stitch work in the original artwork.
Size: A4 (almost a true size of the actual piece).
All prints are embossed with my initials on the bottom right corner for authenticity.
Beautiful atmospheric print suitable for any home decor and interior styling with its neutral tones and clean modern quality. Pair it with ‘View Over Dartmoor II’ to create more impact.

Each print is unmounted, backed on grey board and protected in a biodegradable cellophane pouch ready for posting in an A4 card envelope.

I can sometimes, weather permitting, see the Dartmoor rolling hill tops from my home in Torrington. The moor is only a short drive away and its spectacular atmospheric landscape often provides inspiration for drawing and print.
