The Fox and the Hare, creatures of nature, together they travel the countryside looking out for each other. Here, fox needed a high point to gaze at the stars and hare kindly allowed him to sit upon his back to watch the shooting stars under a crescent moon. This turquoise slip brings alive the two figures as they enjoy each others company, a delightful piece for nature and stargazer lovers alike.

Additional terms
All my ceramic pieces are packaged very carefully and deeply to avoid mishaps, although I try my end to make the package as secure as possible in transit I have no control over how it is handled. The cost of postage reflects this and also provides both yourself and me with insurance should anything happen to the piece whilst in transit. Posting is always first class and tracked, thank you.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Another beautiful ceramic Hare, only this time he has a companion, a little fox sits upon his back and together they are stargazing. This piece is made from earthenware clay and a slip has been applied and the hare and fox are carved free hand out of the slip. The hare is cut from a real figure of a hare (kindly donated by the photographer) and the fox is cut from studying a fox sitting. The surface area is tactile to touch as the carving creates a raised feel to it adding to the whole piece. A crescent moon, large shooting star and little stars are also present connecting the stargazing theme together. This piece is approx 32cm long x 19cm high and is not frost proof so please hang inside only thank you. It can also be used in a plate stand (make it a strong one like metal) or propped against a wall as long as it isn't disturbed.
