I spent the summer on Skye and every evening when the weather allowed I would walk to the beach and out on to the rocks in order to paint. A series of pictures resulted and this painting is one of them. This was an especially colourful night with the rocks around me lighting up with different hues as the sun began to set. A magical time.

Full description
This is a framed oil painting of the sea created on location at Loch Pooltiel, Isle of Skye on a summer's evening. It measures 20cm by 25cm or 8 inches by 10 inches and is made from good quality oil paints on primed plywood board, set inside a 'floater frame' to show the edges of the work. With the frame included the work measures 23cm by 28cm or 9 inches by 11 inches.
The picture is ready to hang and I have attached D rings and picture cord to the back.
