I’ve taken this used piston, removed from a 660cc Tenere motorbike engine, bored it out to hide an ES lampholder and mounted it on a reclaimed wood base to make a stunning compact decorative table lamp

My "Motorbike Piston Table Lamp" - a striking and unique table lamp that seamlessly combines industrial aesthetics with eco-friendly functionality. This one-of-a-kind lamp is a perfect addition to any home or workspace.
At the heart of this remarkable piece is an old motorbike piston, taken from a Tenere 660cc engine, meticulously repurposed to serve as the lamp's central focal point. The piston's polished but slightly worn appearance tells a story of its previous life, adding character to your interior decor.
A bulb holder is ingeniously hidden inside the piston and holds a spiral filament 4.5-Watt LED globe bulb, which not only reduces your carbon footprint but also bathes your space in a warm, inviting glow.
The reclaimed wood base provides a sturdy foundation for the lamp, the grain and imperfections have been preserved under a coat of French polish.
