This vintage brass fire hose nozzle was just crying out to be made into a lamp, my sense of humour led me to a flame effect bulb. These bulbs are a lovely effect but not too attractive to look at so a moulded glass shade utilising an old drinking glass finishes the lamp off nicely.

Full description
A vintage 1930s or 40s brass fire hose nozzle, or ‘branch end’, converted into a table lamp and fitted with a flame effect bulb for a nice touch of irony. It stands on a French polished base made from offcut 4 x 2 timber with an integrated toggle switch. All electric parts are brand new and CE/UKCA marked.
The lamp has a new brass ES lampholder securely fitted to the nozzle and comes complete with the 3-Watt LED flame effect bulb and a (drinking) glass cover to improve the effect. Placed on a shelf, desk or table this lamp will add a vintage steampunk element to almost any room.
My lamp is supplied with a generous 1.8 metres of period look, black braided flex fitted with a black British Standard plug with correct 3-amp fuse.
