Full description
Bring some creative upcycling into your home with this quirky and unusual table lamp made from upcycled materials - apart from the electrical components. Made by mounting a glass supermarket coffee jar on a wooden base made from reclaimed floorboards from a 30s house. The wood has been shaped, sanded and French polished to give a nice protective sheen, but enough patina has been left to show it is reclaimed and there are marks and nail holes etc.
The square jar has been cleaned and a white resin SES lampholder fitted inside holding a 4-watt LED filament candle bulb. These LED bulbs are very economical to run and give off very little heat so are suitable for enclosed spaces. Power is supplied through 2.5 metres of white flex fitted with a white inline switch and white UK plug with the correct 3A fuse.
