This small brass vase has a neck and body just the right size and depth to fit in an SES lampholder, so that was what I did!

Full description
A small brass vase, probably handmade in India during the last half of the twentieth century; upcycled into a compact, novel and decorative table lamp by drilling through the base and fitting a lampholder concealed inside. The vase has hand stamped bird decorations by its original maker, I have polished it up to a nice golden shine and mounted it on a beeswax polished, reclaimed wood base to stabilise it and facilitate a suitable safety flex grip.
The bulb that you see fitted in the photos is a very decorative LED 2w smoked squirrel cage candle shape with a SES (E14) fitting, which will be supplied with the lamp. Two metres of unobtrusive black 3 core flex, fitted with a black inline switch and black plug complete the lamp.
