I usually burn wooden jewellery pieces, but sometimes like to create larger designs on boxes and more practical items. Sometimes I buy small batches of boxes, and other times I like to reuse and repurpose boxes and give them a new life!

Full description
This square wooden box has been hand burned using pyrography with a mechanical bee design. The bee is made up of cogs and patterns in a steampunk style. It's the only one of it's kind.
The design has been burned into the box using pyrography. I've sealed this box with varnish to help protect it and give it a more natural feel. This is by no means a perfect box. I tend to rescue unloved pieces and upcycle them.
Made and posted in the Staffordshire Moorlands, UK.

-Rubber bumpers on a sheet inside to apply if needed.
-Lined with felt.

All my creations are my own design and composition. Each piece is unique. Please note, wood is a natural material and each piece has it's own knots and imperfections that make it beautiful. I seal the wood with varnish to help protect it, but it will weather overtime.
To care for your piece; keep out of damp and direct sunlight.
I post once a week, using my local post office. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Postage within the UK only.
