I always thought that the shape of an open-ended spanner would make a good coat hook, so now I have made a pair from matching vintage spanners and some reclaimed wood.

Full description
An upcycled double coat hook made from vintage open-ended spanners mounted on a short length of reclaimed floorboard. The spanners, both the same size, are cut from a matching pair and welded to heavy washers with holes drilled to securely mount them to the rail. They have been cleaned up and treated with beeswax to preserve them. The rail is a length of vintage reclaimed timber, originally a floorboard, shaped, lightly sanded, stained and French polished to seal in and preserve the gorgeous patina. I have pre-drilled it with 3 countersunk fixing holes to mount it firmly to your wall.
