The LED flame effect bulbs that you can buy look so good installed in place of the flame of old brass blowlamps, this is the fifth that I have made and each one looks great! The first three sold quickly so get it while it’s still here!

Full description
A vintage 1961/2 solid brass petrol blowlamp skillfully repurposed into a decorative mains electric table lamp. I have cleaned and polished the brass before carefully converting it to the lamp you see pictured, using only quality new electrical parts. Note that it has been engineered so the nozzle has not been cut back and that the brass bulb holder is completely hidden inside the shroud, retaining the look of the vintage blowlamp. I have made no attempt to repair or hide the dents and scratches that hark back to its working life and make this piece unique with real industrial character.
The bulb fitted in the photos is a 3w flicker flame effect candle shape with a SBC fitting and will be supplied with the blowlamp. Please note that this bulb is designed for decorative effect and would not be suitable for general room lighting or reading as it just produces a lovely red/orange flickering glow, much as the blowlamp’s flame would have. 2 metres of black, period look, braided 3 core flex with a black inline switch and black plug complete the lamp.
