A needle felt landscape of the Norther Lights at Stonehenge in 2023.
This art work is available framed in a pale grey frame or unframed. Choose from the drop down at the time of purchase.
Worked using the needle felting method on a piece of reclaimed wool blanket. Sparkly blue fibres provide a backdrop to the pinks and yellow/green colours of the lights. The stones of Stonehenge are shown silhouette against this magnificent and rare event of the Northern Lights. The stones are outlined by hand stitching with gold thread.
The finished piece has been placed in a new pale grey wood box frame behind glass. The frame can be hung or stood.
The outside of the frame measures 23 cm x 28 cm. The art work measures approx 19 x 15 cms.
